　　Why ski Wengen? Typifying the classic Swiss chocolate box, Wengen is a quaint village of the Beese Oberland, in the Be canton, part of central Switzerland. Lots in the parking areas also need to be reserved in advance. From the parking area, a shuttle train with CHF6 fare is available to escort you to the resort. You can choose to start your trip from Geneva airport, which is about four hours away by train and three hours away by car to the ski village. Other airports are Zurich, with three hours travel time to the resort, Basel, with two and a half hours travel time, and the nearest airport, Be, which is only an hours drive away from the skiing destination.

　　The resort is groomed for intermediate and expert skiers and snowboarders but also contains some sections to cater for beginners. It possesses seven black runs, seventeen red runs, and eight blue runs. The ski lifts can serve up to 20,000 skiers or snow boarders every hour. It can also augment snow with moderate reliability. Wengen has adequate off-piste trails and is generally a family friendly resort with notable mountain restaurants and amazing alpine sceneries.
